| 电影《阿甘正传》（Forrest Gump）中，阿甘在越南的雨中给Jenny写信时，响起的背景音乐就是这首加州梦想。在电影第48：08--48：40这个不到一分钟的时间里，伴随着阿甘的独白，隐约地响起了这么一首歌，越南丛林恶劣的自然环境和战争的残酷，让阿甘总是有一个回到温暖的安全的、特别是还可以见到女友的加州的梦想。当然歌词与电影场景并不是完全同步的联系，歌曲作为背景音乐只是想做一些铺垫或者是诠释。 |
